VARILINK V3.2 is compatible with the following AVS Controls

It is compatible with computers Running Windows 98 (Second Edition) or later.  (AVS recommends the use of Windows XP® if you are doing data logging because of increased stability.

Incorporating Varilink with an on Site computer and an SVPC-40 the farmer has centralized control of all units at one location.  By tying the computer to a phone line the farmer can then access his controls from other computers by dialing in.  A farmer can even use a laptop and a cellular modem to check the system from the field or road.

Varilink can record all sensor data in an ASCII text file for easy importing into Excel or another spreadsheet program to create custom graphs of temperature and humidity.  Click here for instructions on importing the acquisition file into MS Excel.  Click here for instructions on transferring files from a remote computer to a local computer using PCAnywhere.

From the main screen in Varilink you can view up to 8 parameters on each control that are refreshed in real time.  This can be a sensor input such as temperature, static pressure or humidity; or it can be an output such as vent machine, brooders, or fans etc.  Each house can then be opened in a new window to display all all inputs and outputs.  From this window you can view all the settings and change them if desired.
